Achevements refers to the optional system of unlockable achievements or trophies earned by fulfilling specific conditions or visiting certain locations defined by the development team. Please see the appropriate sub-articles for guidance towards finding them all.
Please use the linked sub-pages in each tabber. Thank you!
- For a full list of all achievements and their triggers in the modern game, see Achievements/Anniversary Edition.
In WolfQuest: Anniversary Edition, Achievements are a returning feature added in Early Access 1.0.7h. They unlock naturally over the course of gameplay or throughout key moments in the campaign while logged-into a WolfQuest game account. A list of achievements, whether in progress, locked or unlocked, can be found in the Account interface under the Achievements tab.
Much like its predecessor, some achievements are single-player-only while others are multiplayer-only. It is not possible to unlock single-player achievements in multiplayer or vice versa.
- For a full list of all achievements and their triggers in the classic game, see Achievements/Classic.
In Legacy versions of WolfQuest, the achievements system did not exist.
Trivia
- An internet connection is required for the game to be able to save and remember earned achievements.
- Achievements are unlocked once per account the first time their trigger is tripped.
- Achievements can be reset on request via e-mail.[1]
Anniversary Edition Trivia
- Achievement artwork was made by Jessie Clarey-Berthiaume.[2] She is better known as Loach on the Official WolfQuest Discord and Community Forum, as otterbells on DeviantART, and User:Coyotric on Fandom.
Anniversary Edition and Classic Trivia
- A few achievements are shared between the Anniversary Edition and its Classic predecessor.
- Returning with the same unlock conditions are Charmless, Nobody Messes with Me(!), Bad Parent and Natural Selection Sucks.
- Returning with different unlock conditions are Natural Selection FTW, King(s) of the Hill, and Survival of the Pack.
- Classic's "Survival of the Pack" is repurposed into three separate tiers (one achievement for each difficulty) in the Anniversary Edition. In Classic, its only unlock condition is to reach the rendezvous site with one or more pups. In the Anniversary Edition, it requires no fewer than two surviving pups.
- Classic's single-player "King of the Hill" is repurposed into Anniversary Edition's multiplayer "Kings of the Hill".
- While the Fossil Forest wolf skull does return in the Anniversary Edition, it is not an achievement like it was in Classic.
