A torn ear is a visible deformation from birth or an injury sustained at some point in life.
In WolfQuest: Anniversary Edition, this customization is base game content unlocked by default.
It is a purely cosmetic modifier split into four separate options, each of which can be applied to the avatar's ears individually. They may be combined with other modifiers. |

In WolfQuest: Classic, this customization is locked in the Free Trial. On PC, it is only available in the Full Game. On mobile, it is only available after purchasing the Wolf Bodies in-app purchase or its buy-all from the Buy Extra Customizations tab in the Shop.
It is a purely cosmetic Body modifier that is applied to the tip of the avatar's left ear.

Anniversary Edition Trivia
- Despite being a possible injury, this customization is not applied automatically through the injury system.
- Randomized NPC wolves may have a chance to spawn with this customization.
- Pups matured into playable adults may have a chance of receiving this modifier. This chance is random.
- Prior to Public Beta 1.0.8l beta 44, torn left (formerly named "Torn") was the only torn ear customization in the game. This release added three new variances: torn right, torn inner left, and torn inner right.
Classic Trivia
- Only player wolves can use this customization.
- A torn ear will only affect a wolf's left ear. It cannot be swapped to the right ear.
