Eyes

Main article: Customization/Eyes

It will be possible for players to choose eye colors independently of coats. This is made possible by a long overdue update to the avatar, which was previously not possible due to concerns over performance on lower-end devices including mobiles and older computers.

Trivia

  • The Lamar Canyon and Blacktail Deer Plateau pelts are modelled after wolves in real packs of the same names, based in Yellowstone National Park.
    • The same is true for the Limpy animation override. The real wolf, wolf 253, was a member of the druid pack.
  • Eye colors will exclude blue because they are a non-existent if not very rare color in adult wolves. Wolf pups only very briefly possess blue eyes.[1] This color occurs more naturally in and may be more commonly associated with dogs and wolf-dog hybrids than in pure-blooded gray wolves.
