The developers and beta testers are aware of the details of this particular exploit thanks to a detailed report and we have been asked not to share information about it; the same applies to other players on the community forums, which has also been applied here on the WolfQuest Wiki. While it is okay to join these games, it is not okay to share the details and further publicize it. It isn't very stable and causes some connection issues for other players, so that can't be a good thing; there could even be some potential to cause other problems that affect everyone -- for example, website and game server downtime. The exploit itself will be fixed in the next patch.
In the meantime, definitely report your findings to the team (be sure to include your system specifications, performance details/session stability and any issues that arose) via this thread on the community forums, by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by posting on the Facebook group. All input is welcome as everyone will be helping the team increase room capacity and maybe even further improve overall multiplayer stability.
It's a hack. We will block it in the next patch release---but we are also thinking about increasing the player limit at the same time. So if you see a game with more than 5 players, go ahead and join it (it might be hosted by a beta tester) then come back here to tell us how things worked (or not) with more players.
